Which boy band’s 1997 album included the hit single “As Long as You Love Me”?

The Backstreet Boys’ 1997 album included the hit single “As Long as You Love Me.”

The song appeared on Backstreet’s Back, the group’s second international studio album, released in 1997. It was written by Max Martin and Martin Sandberg with Andreas Carlsson, and Martin also helped produce the recording.

“As Long as You Love Me” became one of the group’s defining songs, supported by a memorable video featuring the members in a stylized audition setting. The single performed strongly across Europe and other international markets.

A frequent mix-up concerns the album’s availability in the United States. Backstreet’s Back was an international release, while the US edition of the group’s debut album was expanded to include several songs from it. Regardless of regional packaging, the song is firmly associated with the Backstreet Boys.
