Which Beyoncé and Jay-Z album was released as a joint project in 2018?
Answer
Everything Is Love
Answer
Everything Is Love
Everything Is Love was the joint Beyoncé and Jay-Z album released in 2018.
The album was credited to The Carters, the married couple’s shared artistic name. It arrived on June 16, 2018, initially as a surprise release on the streaming service Tidal. The project followed several years in which both artists had addressed marriage, fame and private conflict in separate music.
Everything Is Love contains nine tracks in its standard edition. Its best-known song, “Apeshit,” received a music video filmed in the Louvre in Paris. The video places the performers among famous artworks, including Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, and became one of the project’s most recognizable visual statements.
The album is sometimes confused with Watch the Throne, the 2011 joint album by Jay-Z and Kanye West. It is also often called “The Carters,” but that is the performing credit, not the album’s official title. Beyoncé and Jay-Z later toured together on the On the Run II Tour.
