OK Go won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video for “Here It Goes Again.”
The video became famous for its precisely choreographed routine on six moving treadmills. It was recorded in a rehearsal space with a largely fixed camera, making the performers’ timing and physical coordination the central visual effect.
The song appeared on OK Go’s 2005 album Oh No. The video spread rapidly online in the mid-2000s, when internet video sharing was becoming an important way for music clips to reach audiences beyond traditional television channels.
The treadmill concept is often credited to the band’s performance team and director Trish Sie. The clip was not simply a live concert recording: its appeal came from repeated practice, carefully planned movement, and the visual puzzle of dancers moving with the machines. Its Grammy win recognized the video’s distinctive short-form production.
