Which band includes singer/guitarist Kevin Griffin?

Kevin Griffin is the singer and guitarist of the American rock band Better Than Ezra.

Griffin co-founded Better Than Ezra in 1988 while attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. The band's original lineup also included guitarist Joel Rundell, bassist Tom Drummond, and drummer Cary Bonnecaze. Griffin became the group's lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter, roles he has continued throughout the band's career.

Better Than Ezra broke into the mainstream with the 1993 album Deluxe and its 1995 single “Good,” which reached number one on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. The band is often associated with alternative rock and post-grunge, although its music also draws on pop, roots rock, and other styles.

The question can be confused by Griffin's extensive work outside the band. He has written or co-written songs recorded by artists including Sugarland, Train, Howie Day, and Taylor Swift. He also released solo material, but those projects do not change Better Than Ezra's status as his primary band and best-known musical identity.
