Which Baghdad-based Assassin's Creed game was released in 2023?

Assassin's Creed Mirage is the Baghdad-based Assassin's Creed game released in 2023.

Mirage follows Basim Ibn Ishaq, a street thief from ninth-century Anbar who becomes a Hidden One. The game is set mainly in Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age, when the city was the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate and a major center of scholarship, trade, and political power.

Its structure and design emphasize stealth, investigation, parkour, and assassinations in a comparatively compact city. The story explores Basim's training and his relationship with the Hidden Ones, and it serves as a narrative prequel to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, where Basim is an important character.

Mirage is not the same as Revelations, which features Ezio Auditore in Constantinople, or Origins, which is set in ancient Egypt. Ubisoft released Mirage in October 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox, Windows, and Amazon Luna.
