Ezio Auditore is the central protagonist of Assassin’s Creed II. The character begins as a young Florentine nobleman and becomes an Assassin after his family is caught in a political conspiracy in Renaissance Italy.

Assassin’s Creed II follows Ezio across locations including Florence, Venice, and Monteriggioni. His story continues in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, creating one of the longest connected protagonist arcs in the series.
