Which Assassin's Creed II character becomes a Master Assassin in Renaissance Italy?

Ezio Auditore becomes a Master Assassin in Assassin's Creed II and its Renaissance Italian setting.

Ezio begins the game as a young Florentine nobleman whose family is destroyed by a political conspiracy. He joins the Assassin Brotherhood and spends years pursuing the people responsible while building alliances across Florence, Venice, and other Italian locations. His training transforms him from an impulsive teenager into a skilled leader.

Ezio’s story continues in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Those games show him leading the Brotherhood in Rome and later traveling to Constantinople while investigating Altaïr’s legacy. He is not the same character as Altaïr or Connor: Altaïr is the central Assassin of the first game, while Connor is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III. Ezio remains one of the series’ most prominent recurring heroes.
