Answer
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Answer
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Assassin's Creed Odyssey was the first main-series title to let players explore ancient Greece.
Released in 2018, Odyssey is set in the fifth century BCE during the Peloponnesian War. Players control Kassandra or Alexios, descendants of Leonidas I of Sparta, and travel through a large depiction of the Greek world. The game includes Athens, Sparta, the Aegean islands, and other regions.
Assassin's Creed Origins came first chronologically within the series' historical timeline, but it is set in Ptolemaic Egypt rather than Greece. Odyssey expands the role-playing structure introduced by Origins with dialogue choices, branching outcomes, and selectable protagonists.
Although Odyssey is part of Assassin's Creed, its story predates the formal establishment of the Hidden Ones shown in Origins. It therefore depicts earlier ideological and historical roots rather than the Assassin Brotherhood in its familiar organizational form. Valhalla later continued the modern role-playing format in ninth-century England and Norway.
