Which Assassin’s Creed game is subtitled Revelations?

The story behind the answer

The game subtitled Revelations is Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations was released in 2011 and concludes the main Ezio Auditore trilogy. It follows an older Ezio as he travels to Constantinople, now Istanbul, to search for keys connected with Altaïr’s legacy and the Masyaf library.

The game also returns to Altaïr through memory sequences, making it a major meeting point between two of the series’ most important protagonists. Desmond Miles remains part of the modern-day storyline, so the title’s “revelations” refers to discoveries spanning several historical generations.

Revelations introduced or expanded features such as hookblade traversal, bomb crafting, and a defense mode involving Assassin dens. It should not be confused with Origins, which explores the beginnings of the Brotherhood in Ptolemaic Egypt, or Rogue, which follows the former Assassin Shay Cormac.
