Which Assassin's Creed game is set primarily during the Viking expansion into England?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set primarily during the Viking expansion into England. The main story begins in Norway and follows Eivor, a Viking raider who establishes a settlement in England during the ninth century.

Eivor may be played as male or female, and the character is connected to the Raven Clan. The campaign visits several Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, including areas associated with Wessex, Mercia, East Anglia, and Northumbria.

The game combines Viking politics and settlement-building with the series' Assassin-Templar conflict. In Valhalla, the Templar organization is represented by the Order of the Ancients, an earlier version of the group seen in later historical periods.

Valhalla is sometimes confused with Origins because both include large open worlds and ancient settings. Origins takes place in Ptolemaic Egypt, whereas Valhalla focuses on ninth-century Scandinavia and England.
