Which Assassin's Creed game is set mainly in Rome and follows Ezio Auditore?
Answer
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Answer
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is the game set mainly in Rome and following Ezio Auditore.
Released in 2010, Brotherhood continues Ezio's story after Assassin's Creed II. Much of the campaign takes place in Renaissance Rome, where Ezio works to weaken the Borgia family's control and rebuild the Assassin Brotherhood. The city serves as both a historical setting and a large open-world area that players gradually restore.
Brotherhood introduced a recruitment system allowing Ezio to enlist and train new Assassins. These recruits could be called into missions and eventually sent across Europe. The game also expanded the series' multiplayer mode, a feature not present in the original release.
Players sometimes confuse Brotherhood with Assassin's Creed II because both feature Ezio and Renaissance Italy. Assassin's Creed II travels through several Italian locations, while Brotherhood concentrates its main action in Rome. Revelations later moves Ezio to Constantinople and connects his story more directly with Altaïr's.
