Which Assassin’s Creed game follows Ezio Auditore’s rise in Renaissance Italy?
Answer
Assassin’s Creed II
Answer
Assassin’s Creed II
Assassin’s Creed II follows Ezio Auditore’s rise in Renaissance Italy.
Released in 2009, Assassin’s Creed II begins in Florence in 1476 and follows Ezio from his youth into the Assassin Brotherhood. After a family tragedy, he uncovers a conspiracy involving powerful Templars and travels through several Italian cities, including Florence, Monteriggioni, Venice, and Forlì.
The game greatly expanded the original’s systems. Ezio can use money, purchase equipment, renovate Monteriggioni, and employ new tools such as a hidden pistol and poison blade. Leonardo da Vinci also provides inventions and technical assistance.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Revelations continue Ezio’s story, but they are separate games. Brotherhood focuses heavily on Rome and recruiting Assassins, while Revelations takes Ezio to Constantinople. The second main game is therefore the specific title associated with his origin and Italian Renaissance adventure.
