Answer
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag follows Edward Kenway, a pirate who becomes involved with the Assassins.
Released in 2013, Black Flag is set mainly in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy in the early eighteenth century. Edward Kenway begins as a Welsh privateer and pirate seeking wealth and status, then becomes entangled in the struggle between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templars.
The game emphasizes naval exploration, ship combat, boarding actions, underwater diving, and visits to Caribbean ports. Edward is also the father of Haytham Kenway and the grandfather of Ratonhnhaké:ton, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III.
The title is sometimes confused with Assassin's Creed Rogue, which also features extensive sailing. Rogue follows Shay Cormac, an Assassin who joins the Templars, while Black Flag's central character is Edward Kenway. Black Flag also includes a modern-day storyline set inside a fictionalized game-development company.
