Sam Fender had four nominations at the 2026 Brit Awards, behind Olivia Dean and Lola Young, who led with five each.
Fender’s nominations covered Artist of the Year, Mastercard Album of the Year for People Watching, Song of the Year for “Rein Me In,” and Alternative/Rock Act. The list reflected his strong 2025, including the success of his album and singles.
A common mix-up is confusing nominations with wins. Fender did not lead the nominations, but he was one of the ceremony’s major winners, taking two awards. Olivia Dean won four trophies, while Lola Young’s breakthrough win marked her first Brit Award. The 2026 ceremony took place at Manchester’s Co-op Live, the first time the event was held outside London.
