Beyoncé became the most awarded performer in Grammy Awards history in 2023.
At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, Beyoncé won four awards, including Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance. Those victories raised her career total to 32 Grammys, surpassing conductor Georg Solti’s previous record of 31. She later added another award, bringing her total to 35 by the 2025 ceremony.
The record concerns wins by an individual performer, although Grammy statistics can be presented in several ways. Some lists separate performers from producers, conductors, engineers, and other credited professionals. Beyoncé’s achievement is therefore best understood as the overall Grammy record for a performing artist.
Her first Grammy wins came at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards in 2004, when she won five awards as a solo artist and member of Destiny’s Child-related projects. Her 2023 record-setting night also made Renaissance the first album by a Black woman to win Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.
