Which artist/band put out the CD, "Amnesiac"?

The story behind the answer

Radiohead put out the CD Amnesiac. The English rock band released the album on May 30, 2001, as its fifth studio record through EMI, with Parlophone and Capitol handling regional releases.

Amnesiac was created from recording sessions that also produced Kid A, released in 2000. Radiohead decided the material was too expansive for one double album, so the songs were divided between two related records. Amnesiac is known for blending alternative rock with electronic music, jazz, experimental textures and influences from twentieth-century classical music.

The album includes “Pyramid Song,” “Knives Out” and “I Might Be Wrong.” Its closing track, “Life in a Glasshouse,” features jazz trumpeter Humphrey Lyttelton and his band. A common mix-up is assuming Amnesiac is a compilation or a Kid A reissue; it is a separate studio album, although the two records share recording origins and an experimental atmosphere.
