Which arena hosted 2026 California Classic games in Sacramento?
Answer
Golden 1 Center
Golden 1 Center hosted the 2026 California Classic games in Sacramento. The downtown Sacramento arena served as the home venue for the Sacramento portion of the NBA’s preseason summer showcase.
The Sacramento games took place from 4–6 July 2026. The schedule featured the Sacramento Kings, Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and a split Golden State Warriors summer-league roster. Golden State used separate teams for the Sacramento and San Francisco portions of the event.
The California Classic is part of the broader NBA Summer League program, which also includes games at San Francisco’s Chase Center and the main Summer League in Las Vegas. That makes Chase Center a plausible distractor, but it hosted the San Francisco games rather than the Sacramento contests.
Golden 1 Center opened in 2016 and is the home arena of the Sacramento Kings. Its name comes from Golden 1 Credit Union, the arena’s naming-rights partner.
