Which album made Billie Eilish the youngest winner of Grammy Album of the Year?
Answer
When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? made Billie Eilish the youngest winner of Grammy Album of the Year.
Eilish won Album of the Year at the 2020 Grammy Awards for her debut studio album. She was 18 years old, making her the youngest artist to receive the award at that time and giving the album one of the ceremony’s most notable milestones.
The album was released in 2019 and was created largely with her brother Finneas O’Connell. Its minimalist production, dark pop atmosphere, and unconventional vocal performances helped it reach a worldwide audience.
The album also won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist for Eilish at the same ceremony. The achievement is sometimes confused with the record for youngest Grammy winner in any category, which is a separate overall record and does not refer specifically to Album of the Year.
