Which actress voiced Cruz Ramirez in Pixar's Cars 3?

Cristela Alonzo voiced Cruz Ramirez in Pixar's Cars 3.

Cruz Ramirez is a yellow race trainer who initially works with Lightning McQueen at the Rust-eze Racing Center. Although she is not introduced as an established champion, she has strong driving ability and becomes increasingly important as Lightning's comeback develops. Alonzo supplied Cruz's English-language voice.

Cruz's role is sometimes confused with Sally Carrera, who is voiced by Bonnie Hunt and appears in the original Cars as Lightning's friend and romantic interest. Cruz is a different character with a different function: she is connected directly to Lightning's training, racing future, and eventual mentorship story.

The casting of Alonzo also helped make Cruz one of the franchise's most prominent new characters. Cars 3 shifts attention from Lightning's earlier celebrity toward the question of who gets the opportunity to compete. Cruz's development gives the film a clear generational handoff rather than presenting the new racer merely as an opponent.
