Which actress played Will's girlfriend Kathleen in the season 2 premiere?

Tisha Campbell played Will’s girlfriend Kathleen in the season 2 premiere of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The episode is titled “Did the Earth Move for You?” and aired on September 9, 1991, opening the show’s second season. Campbell’s Kathleen is one of Will’s early romantic interests, appearing in the episode’s storyline about a young relationship and Will’s usually overconfident approach to dating.

Campbell was already an experienced performer when she appeared on the sitcom. She later became especially well known for playing Gina Waters-Payne on Martin, where she starred opposite Martin Lawrence. Her Fresh Prince appearance is sometimes confused with other guest roles: Lela Rochon played Cindy in season 2, while Queen Latifah appeared in two different roles across the series. Raven-Symoné did not play Kathleen; she appeared later as Claudia in season 2.

The guest-star listing identifies Campbell specifically with Kathleen and places the role in season 2, episode 1, making her the single canonical answer.
