Hilary Banks’s fiancé in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is named Trevor.
Trevor Collins-Newsworthy is introduced as Hilary’s romantic partner and a television news personality. His relationship with Hilary becomes especially memorable because of his proposal and the dramatic event connected with it. The storyline combines Hilary’s celebrity ambitions with the show’s broader habit of turning family milestones into comic and emotional episodes.
The character is sometimes remembered primarily by his surname, Collins-Newsworthy, or simply as Hilary’s fiancé. Trevor is distinct from other romantic figures in the series, including Will’s girlfriends and Hilary’s later relationships. The role was played by Brian Stokes Mitchell, who appeared in a recurring capacity during the show’s later period.
