Which actor voices Vance Maximus in Vindicators 3?

Which actor voices Vance Maximus in “Vindicators 3”? Christian Slater provides the voice.

Vance Maximus is the leader of the Vindicators, the galaxy-faring superhero team featured in “Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender.” Christian Slater voices him as a polished, confident hero who presents himself as suave and capable. The episode gradually undercuts that image, revealing Vance to be far less brave than his heroic branding suggests.

The character is part of the episode’s parody of superhero franchises. Vance combines the swagger of familiar spacefaring heroes with the team’s darker, more cynical comedy. He is killed early in Rick’s trap-filled series of challenges after attempting to escape through a ventilation duct, making his apparent heroism one of the episode’s first targets.

The other options are voices associated with different Vindicators: Lance Reddick plays Alan Rails, Maurice LaMarche voices Crocubot, and Tom Kenny voices Million Ants. Christian Slater’s casting is therefore specific to Vance Maximus, not to the team as a whole. The episode premiered in 2017 as the fourth episode of Rick and Morty’s third season.
