Which actor voices the Yeti in Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.?

John Ratzenberger voices the Yeti in Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.

The Yeti appears after being banished to the Himalayas-like Himalaya region and offers Sulley and Mike an unexpected explanation of life outside Monstropolis. Ratzenberger gives the character a warm, comic voice that contrasts with the frightening image associated with a legendary abominable snow creature.

Ratzenberger was a familiar Pixar voice performer. He had appeared in earlier Pixar films and became known for providing a voice in every Pixar feature released during the studio’s early era. His Monsters, Inc. role is a brief supporting performance rather than one of the central leads.

The Yeti is sometimes confused with other large characters because Sulley is also a furry monster and John Goodman voices Sulley. The Yeti’s performer is specifically John Ratzenberger.
