Which actor voices Summer Smith in Rick and Morty?

Spencer Grammer voices Summer Smith in Rick and Morty. Summer is the older sister of Morty Smith and the daughter of Beth and Jerry, and Grammer has performed the character in the original English-language animated series since its 2013 debut.

Summer begins as a relatively conventional teenager concerned with school, popularity, and her social standing. As the series develops, she becomes much more involved in Rick and Morty's dangerous adventures. Her intelligence, nerve, and willingness to challenge Rick gradually make her an important member of the family team rather than a background character.

The voice role is sometimes confused with the actors who play other prominent women in the series. Sarah Chalke voices Beth Smith, Summer's mother; Kari Wahlgren voices Jessica and several other characters; and Cassie Steele voices Tammy. Grammer is also known for playing Casey Cartwright in the television series Greek and is the daughter of actor Kelsey Grammer.

Summer's role can vary across dimensions, but the original series consistently credits Spencer Grammer for the English voice of the character.
