Which actor voices Sterling, the racing-team owner in Pixar’s Cars 3?

Nathan Fillion voices Sterling, the racing-team owner in Pixar’s Cars 3. Sterling purchases Rust-eze and becomes responsible for Lightning McQueen’s professional future.

Sterling presents himself as a supportive businessman, but he is primarily concerned with the commercial value of the Rust-eze brand. He hires Cruz Ramirez as Lightning’s trainer and initially expects Lightning to retire if he cannot defeat Jackson Storm.

Nathan Fillion is known for television roles including Richard Castle in Castle and John Nolan in The Rookie. His voice performance gives Sterling a polished, corporate manner that contrasts with Lightning’s emotional attachment to racing.

Chris Cooper voices Smokey, the Hudson Hornet’s former crew chief and Lightning’s mentor during training. Armie Hammer voices Jackson Storm, while Larry the Cable Guy voices Mater. These actors are all in the same film, but none voices Sterling.
