Which actor voices Professor Zündapp, the villain in Pixar’s Cars 2?
Answer
Thomas Kretschmann
Thomas Kretschmann voices Professor Zündapp, the villain in Pixar’s Cars 2.
Professor Zündapp is an eccentric German scientist who works with the film’s criminal conspiracy. He develops the electromagnetic weapon used to make alternative fuel appear dangerous during the World Grand Prix.
Cars 2 shifts the franchise toward international espionage. Mater becomes involved after being mistaken for an American spy, while Lightning McQueen competes in races organized around the world.
The voice cast includes Michael Caine as spy car Finn McMissile and Eddie Izzard as Miles Axlerod. Those prominent performers are sometimes incorrectly named as Zündapp’s voice, but the role belongs to German actor Thomas Kretschmann.
