Which actor voices Jonathan Irons in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare?

Jonathan Irons in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is voiced by Kevin Spacey. Spacey also provides Irons’s likeness and performance, making the character one of the game’s most recognizable figures.

Irons is the founder and chief executive of Atlas Corporation, a powerful private military company. The story begins with Jack Mitchell joining Atlas after losing his arm and his friend Will Irons during the defense of Seoul in 2054. At first, Jonathan presents Atlas as a technologically advanced alternative to conventional militaries.

The character’s role changes as the campaign progresses. Mitchell and his allies discover that Irons allowed some crises to develop because they strengthened Atlas’s influence. He eventually turns against the United States and uses Atlas’s resources in an attempt to impose his own vision of global order.

A common mix-up is confusing Irons’s performer with Troy Baker, who voices and portrays Jack Mitchell. Kevin Spacey is specifically associated with Jonathan Irons, while Gideon, Ilona, and Cormack are performed by different actors. The game’s campaign spans 2054 to 2061 and ends with Mitchell confronting Irons at Atlas headquarters.
