Which actor voices Cruz Ramirez in Pixar's Cars 3?

Cristela Alonzo voices Cruz Ramirez in Pixar's Cars 3.

Cruz Ramirez is introduced as a modern racing trainer assigned to help Lightning McQueen prepare for competition. She begins as a technically skilled but cautious character and becomes central to the film's story about mentorship, confidence and changing generations in racing.

Alonzo was the first Latina to voice a lead character in a Pixar feature. Her performance gives Cruz both comic energy and emotional depth as the character confronts assumptions about who belongs behind the wheel.

Cruz is sometimes mistaken for a side character because McQueen remains the franchise's title character. However, Cars 3 gives her a major story arc and establishes her as an important racer in her own right. The film was released in 2017 and was directed by Brian Fee.
