Which actor provides the voice of Mike Wazowski in Monsters, Inc.?

Billy Crystal provides the voice of Mike Wazowski in Monsters, Inc. Mike is Sulley’s one-eyed, round-bodied coworker, roommate, and closest friend, and Crystal’s rapid comic delivery defines much of the character’s personality.

Mike works at Monsters, Incorporated as Sulley’s assistant and coordinator. He is highly focused on schedules, paperwork, publicity, and his own appearance, but he becomes involved in protecting Boo after the child crosses into Monstropolis. His confidence and sarcasm contrast with Sulley’s larger, more compassionate presence.

Crystal had already been known for comedy, acting, writing, and hosting before joining the Pixar production. John Goodman voices Sulley, while Steve Buscemi voices Randall Boggs. Those three performances form the central adult voice cast, but Mike Wazowski is specifically Crystal’s role.
