Which actor plays Colombian lawyer Fernando Duque in Narcos?

Bruno Bichir plays Colombian lawyer Fernando Duque in Narcos.

Duque represents Pablo Escobar and serves as an intermediary between the cartel leader and Colombia’s political establishment. The character is especially important because he helps translate Escobar’s criminal power into negotiations, legal maneuvering, and demands for political influence.

Narcos presents Duque as a fictionalized version of Guido Parra, a real lawyer associated with Escobar. That background explains why the character is more than a conventional courtroom attorney: he operates as a fixer, negotiator, and government liaison during the conflict over extradition and Escobar’s surrender.

A common mix-up is confusing Duque with César Gaviria, played by Raúl Méndez, or Eduardo Sandoval, played by Manolo Cardona. Bichir is a Mexican actor from the Bichir acting family, while Duque is a Colombian character in the series.
