Which actor played Chandler Bing in Friends?

Matthew Perry played Chandler Bing in Friends.

Chandler is one of the six principal characters and is known for sarcasm, fast jokes, and an initially mysterious office career. Perry portrayed him throughout all 10 seasons, making Chandler one of his defining television roles.

Chandler’s major long-term storyline involves his relationship with Monica Geller. Their romance develops after earlier relationships with other characters and eventually leads to marriage, a move to the suburbs, and adoption of twins.

Perry was born in Massachusetts and raised partly in Canada, where he became a junior tennis player before pursuing acting. Viewers sometimes confuse Chandler’s performer with Matt LeBlanc, who played Chandler’s roommate Joey Tribbiani, or David Schwimmer, who played Monica’s brother Ross.
