Brad Pitt is the actor who starred in three David Fincher films, including Se7en and Fight Club. Pitt first worked with Fincher in Se7en, playing Detective David Mills, a young investigator confronting a serial killer whose crimes are based on the seven deadly sins.
Their second collaboration was Fight Club, released in 1999. Pitt played Tyler Durden, the charismatic and anarchic figure at the center of Chuck Palahniuk's adaptation. The role became one of his most recognizable performances and helped establish the film as a major cult favorite.
Pitt and Fincher reunited for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in 2008. Pitt played Benjamin, a man who ages backward, in a romantic fantasy-drama based loosely on F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1922 short story. The film earned multiple Academy Award nominations, including one for Pitt as Best Actor.
Jake Gyllenhaal appeared in Zodiac, while Morgan Freeman appeared in Se7en, but neither has the same three-film Fincher partnership described here.
