Boys Noize is the stage name of German DJ and producer Alexander Ridha, the 2026 Lollapalooza act.
Ridha was born in Hamburg and began releasing music under the Boys Noize name in the mid-2000s. His sound combines electro, techno, rave and punk energy, often using distorted synthesizers, forceful drum programming and highly compressed textures. The project became associated with the international electro scene through both original productions and remixes.
Boys Noize is also the name of Ridha’s record label, Boysnoize Records, which he founded in 2005. The label helped spotlight electronic artists and became an important outlet for his own releases. Ridha has additionally worked with other musicians, including Erol Alkan and Skrillex; his collaboration with Skrillex was released as Dog Blood. A common mix-up is treating Boys Noize as a band, but it is principally Ridha’s solo artist identity, even when he performs collaborative material.
