SB19 was the 2026 Lollapalooza act behind the 2023 song “Gento.”
SB19 is a Filipino boy band formed in 2018 in Manila. The group consists of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, and its name is commonly associated with the group’s connection to Filipino pop and its role in bringing P-pop to a wider international audience. SB19’s music combines pop, hip-hop, R&B, and tightly choreographed performance.
“Gento” was released on May 19, 2023, as the lead single from the group’s second extended play, Pagtatag!, which followed in June. The song uses gold mining as a metaphor for hard work, ambition, and success. Its title also plays on Filipino-language ideas including ginto, meaning gold, and ganito, meaning “like this.”
The song became a major milestone for SB19. It reached No. 8 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart and No. 11 on the Philippines Songs chart, giving the group its first entries on both charts. The clue identifies the group, not an individual member or the EP title.
