Where did Country Jam 2018 take place?

Country Jam 2018 took place in Colorado, at Jam Ranch near Grand Junction. More precisely, the festival site was near Mack in Mesa County, on Colorado’s Western Slope.

The 2018 edition ran from June 14 through June 17 and was promoted as a four-day country-music festival. Its headliners included Brett Eldredge, Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line and Brantley Gilbert. Other performers included Luke Combs, Josh Turner, Dustin Lynch, Brett Young, Kip Moore and Lauren Alaina.

The event is often associated with Grand Junction because that is the nearest major city and the name used in much of its promotion. The actual festival grounds are at Jam Ranch outside the city, near Mack and close to Interstate 70. That distinction explains why both “Grand Junction” and “Colorado” appear in descriptions of the event.

Country Jam Colorado is also easy to confuse with Country Jam USA, a separate festival historically held in Wisconsin. The 2018 event in this question was the Colorado festival.
