What year was the song "The Prophet's Song" released?

The story behind the answer

The song “The Prophet’s Song” was released in 1975. It appeared on Queen’s fourth studio album, A Night at the Opera, which was released on 28 November 1975 in the United Kingdom.

Written by guitarist Brian May, the track is one of Queen’s most ambitious progressive-rock recordings. At 8 minutes and 21 seconds, it is the longest song Queen released, running longer than “Bohemian Rhapsody.” May reportedly developed the song after having a vivid dream about a great flood while recovering from illness during the recording of Sheer Heart Attack.

The song’s lyrics draw on biblical imagery, especially the story of Noah’s Ark, with references to warnings, a flood and a white dove. It is sometimes confused with material from later Queen albums because of its dramatic, multi-section arrangement and elaborate vocal effects.

A Night at the Opera also includes “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Love of My Life” and “You’re My Best Friend.” “The Prophet’s Song” immediately precedes “Love of My Life,” with the two tracks blending together on the original album.
