What weapon fires a three-round burst in Fortnite?

What weapon fires a three-round burst in Fortnite? The answer is Burst Assault Rifle. As its name suggests, this rifle fires three bullets each time the trigger is pulled, rather than firing continuously or one round at a time.

The Burst Assault Rifle was one of Fortnite Battle Royale’s early assault-rifle variants. Its burst firing pattern rewarded players who could keep the weapon’s sights on a target, particularly at medium range. A well-placed burst could deal substantial damage, while missed shots reduced its efficiency because the weapon did not behave like a fully automatic rifle.

Players sometimes confuse it with other rifles that share similar names, including the Heavy Assault Rifle, Scoped Assault Rifle, and Infantry Rifle. Those weapons have different firing patterns and handling characteristics. The term “three-round burst” specifically identifies the standard burst behavior associated with the Burst Assault Rifle, although Fortnite’s weapon balance, rarities, and available versions changed across updates and seasons.
