What was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater titled in the United Kingdom?

The story behind the answer

In the United Kingdom, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater was titled Tony Hawk’s Skateboarding.

Activision released the original game in 1999 under the name Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater in North America and several other markets. For the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Europe, the title was changed to Tony Hawk’s Skateboarding. The gameplay and core content were substantially the same despite the regional naming difference.

The game was developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. It helped establish a major skateboarding-game franchise by combining trick-based scoring, objective-focused career levels, and licensed punk and ska-punk music.

Players sometimes assume the British title refers to a different game, but it is the regional name for the first entry. The later sequel retained the Pro Skater branding internationally, appearing as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2.
