The Apollo program returned a total of 382 kilograms of lunar samples to Earth. The collection includes rocks, regolith, core samples, pebbles, sand, and dust gathered during six successful lunar landing missions between 1969 and 1972.

Apollo 11 brought back the first samples, including rocks and soil collected by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
