What was the title of the Jonas Brothers’ debut studio album?

The story behind the answer

The Jonas Brothers’ debut studio album was titled It’s About Time.

The album was released on August 8, 2006, through Columbia Records. It was the first full-length recording by the American pop-rock band formed by brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas.

The record had a limited initial release and did not achieve the commercial impact of the group’s later albums. After leaving Columbia, the Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records, where their 2007 self-titled album brought them a much wider audience through Disney Channel exposure and touring.

Listeners sometimes identify Jonas Brothers as the debut album because it was the group’s first major breakthrough release. However, Jonas Brothers was their second studio album; It’s About Time came first and included early versions of songs that helped define their guitar-led pop style.
