What was the title of Radiohead’s 1997 album that includes “Paranoid Android”?

The story behind the answer

Radiohead’s 1997 album containing “Paranoid Android” is titled OK Computer.

The album was released on May 21, 1997, by Parlophone in the United Kingdom and Capitol Records in the United States. It was Radiohead’s third studio album and followed The Bends. The band recorded much of it at St Catherine’s Court, a historic mansion in Bath, England, working with producer Nigel Godrich.

OK Computer combines alternative rock with electronic textures, unusual song structures and themes involving technology, consumerism, alienation and modern anxiety. “Paranoid Android,” its lead single, is a multipart composition that changes tempo and mood several times.

The album is sometimes mistaken for Kid A because both records are associated with Radiohead’s technological and experimental direction. OK Computer remains more guitar-centered, while Kid A, released in 2000, moves much further toward electronic and abstract sounds.
