What was the title of Georgia O'Keeffe's 1976 autobiography written with Juan Hamilton?

Georgia O’Keeffe’s 1976 autobiography, written with Juan Hamilton, was titled Georgia O’Keeffe.

The book presents autobiographical material about her life, artistic development, relationships, and working methods. Juan Hamilton, who assisted O’Keeffe in her later years, helped assemble and shape the publication.

Its simple title can be confused with exhibition catalogues and biographies that also use O’Keeffe’s name. The publication is an autobiography associated directly with the artist, rather than a later scholarly biography written by an outside author.

The book appeared late in O’Keeffe’s life, when she was already an internationally recognized artist. It offers a personal account, but readers should distinguish an artist’s own narrative from a complete independent chronology of every event in her career.
