The second set of the 2026 US Open women’s doubles final ended 6–0 for Taylor Townsend and Kateřina Siniaková.
Townsend and Siniaková defeated Ashlyn Krueger and Robin Montgomery 5–7, 6–0, 6–2. After losing the opening set, the top-seeded team produced a dominant response by winning every game in the second set.
They then won the deciding set 6–2 to claim the championship. The victory was especially important because Townsend and Siniaková completed the career Grand Slam as a team, having already won the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon together.
A bagel is the common tennis term for a 6–0 set. Here, it refers only to the second set; the final itself went to three sets.
