What was the name of the New York art school where Georgia O'Keeffe studied from 1907 to 1908?

The story behind the answer

Georgia O'Keeffe studied at the Art Students League of New York from 1907 to 1908.

The Art Students League was founded in Manhattan in 1875 as an independent art school offering instruction outside the more formal academy system. O'Keeffe attended there after studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

At the League, she studied under William Merritt Chase, a prominent American painter and teacher. Her training included traditional approaches to drawing, painting, and still life, and she won the school's William Merritt Chase still-life prize in 1908.

O'Keeffe later reacted against academic conventions and developed a more personal, abstract visual language. That later style can make her early training easy to overlook. Parsons and Cooper Union were also important New York art schools, but neither was the institution where O'Keeffe studied during this 1907–1908 period.
