What was the name of the animated short film Dalí created with Walt Disney?

The story behind the answer

The animated short film Dalí created with Walt Disney was Destino, a surreal collaboration whose production stretched across six decades.

Disney and Dalí began developing the project in 1945, with Disney artist John Hench helping storyboard and shape the animation. Dalí’s imagery and Hench’s animation concepts were intended to create a visual story about destiny, but the studio’s financial difficulties during the World War II era placed the project on indefinite hiatus. Only a brief animation test was completed at the time.

Roy E. Disney revived the project in 1999. A team at Walt Disney Studios France, led by director Dominique Monféry, interpreted the surviving storyboards and Dalí’s drawings, combining traditional animation with computer-generated elements. The finished seven-minute short premiered in 2003. It is therefore accurate to call Destino a Dalí–Disney creation, but it was not released during Dalí’s lifetime and was completed long after the original collaboration.
