What was the name of Queen Victoria's eldest child?

Queen Victoria’s eldest child was Victoria, Princess Royal.

Born at Buckingham Palace on 21 November 1840, she was the first child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Within the family she was affectionately known as “Vicky.” She was created Princess Royal in 1841, a title traditionally given to the sovereign’s eldest daughter.

Victoria, Princess Royal, was briefly heir presumptive when she was born, because her mother had no other children. That changed when her younger brother, Albert Edward, was born in 1841. He later became King Edward VII, while Victoria married Prince Frederick of Prussia in 1858.

The marriage connected the British and Prussian royal families. She and Frederick had eight children, including Wilhelm II, who became German Emperor. Victoria herself became German Empress and Queen of Prussia in 1888, although her husband died after only 99 days on the throne. She died in Germany on 5 August 1901, less than seven months after her mother.
