What was the name of Georgia O'Keeffe's husband, photographer Alfred Stieglitz's New York gallery opened in 1925?

The story behind the answer

Alfred Stieglitz opened The Intimate Gallery in New York in 1925.

Stieglitz was a pioneering photographer, gallery owner, and promoter of modern art. After the earlier 291 gallery closed, he established The Intimate Gallery at 46 East 57th Street. The venue continued his practice of presenting modernist artists and photographers to American audiences.

Georgia O'Keeffe married Stieglitz in 1924, one year before The Intimate Gallery opened. The gallery became one of several important spaces through which Stieglitz showed O'Keeffe’s work. It was followed by An American Place, which he operated from 1929 until his death in 1946.

The names are easy to mix up because all three galleries are closely tied to Stieglitz. However, 291 was the earlier Fifth Avenue gallery, The Intimate Gallery opened in 1925, and An American Place was the later venue.
