What was the name of Elvis Presley's only child?

The story behind the answer

Elvis Presley's only child was Lisa Marie Presley.

Lisa Marie was born on February 1, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She was born exactly nine months after her parents' wedding. Although Elvis and Priscilla divorced in 1973, Lisa Marie spent time with both parents and frequently visited her father at Graceland.

When Elvis died in 1977, Lisa Marie was only nine years old. She initially shared inheritance rights with her grandfather, Vernon Presley, and great-grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley. After both relatives died, she became Elvis's sole surviving heir and inherited the estate on her 25th birthday in 1993.

A common mix-up is confusing Lisa Marie with Priscilla, Elvis's former wife and Lisa Marie's mother. Lisa Marie later became a singer-songwriter herself, releasing three studio albums, including To Whom It May Concern in 2003.
