Answer
Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection
Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection was the first Assassin’s Creed game released for Nintendo Switch.
Ubisoft launched the collection for Switch in December 2019. It combines Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag with Assassin’s Creed Rogue, along with their associated single-player content. Black Flag follows Edward Kenway in the Caribbean, while Rogue follows Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic.
The collection was adapted specifically for Nintendo’s hybrid console and includes features such as touch-screen interface support and motion-control options. It gave Switch players access to two substantial earlier entries rather than a newly developed mainline chapter.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered also came to Switch later, in 2019, but it was not the first Assassin’s Creed release on the platform. Origins and Valhalla were not released as native Nintendo Switch versions.
