Taylor Swift’s “august” reached number 46 on the Billboard Global 200.
That peak occurred in 2023, after the song had already become known for its recurring August streaming resurgence. The Global 200 combines music consumption from many territories, so it measures international performance rather than only US listening.
The number 46 should not be confused with the song’s original US Hot 100 peak of number 23 or its number five peak on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs. It also differs from country-specific results, such as the song’s later peaks in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The chart reappearance shows how a non-single album track can gain renewed visibility through listener habits. “August” was first released in 2020, but its yearly association with the month continued to generate chart activity several years later.
